Step by step…
Here’s a process breakdown of how I create my work. While this is for a sketch card painting, my process is similar for full size illustrations as well.
1. Rough pencil sketch for layout
2. Blank Topps Galaxy 7 sketch card 2.5” x 3.5”
3. Pencil drawing
4. Black and white value under-painting
5. Color base laid in with airbrush
6. Final art, details finished with paintbrush and colored pencils

aaaannnnndddd just because… threw together all 148 Star Wars Galaxy 7 sketch cards I completed in one big pic. The set will be out this month (February 14, I believe?) good luck hunting these down or be lazy and find them on ebay… be sure to click to zoom!
